I recently took part in a community yarn bombing project. At times my local town can feel like a bit of a lost cause, so I jumped at the opportunity to help spruce it up a bit. I’m usually quite a reserved person but I felt like this was a chance to restore some hope…
So I’ve decided to do this ‘granny a day’ thing. I’m not sure how it will go as I get bored with doing the same thing very, very easily (which is why I’ve never managed to make a blanket before). But I’m willing to give it a go. Wish me luck.
Pattern: Lazy days of Summer Top by Mari Lynn Patrick I used a 3mm hook to make it to fit a kids size six, though it’s probably ended up more like a size seven. The original pattern is in adult sizes.
