Found a terrific free pattern for this crocheted produce bag here. I was so excited when I found it, I had to whip it up straight away. I tweaked the pattern slightly so it would be big enough to put my groceries in, I used a 3.5mm hook with cotton twine (because I love the smell of twine). I loved the apricot color it was in the original pattern but unfortunately my kitchen is mostly green with a bit of red and it would have clashed terribly.
I made this cardi for my daughter with this free pattern. I made the buttons from an old hand embroidered doily. It was a bit sad cutting it up but thankfully it wasn’t one of my favorites. I still have to crochet around the neckline and armholes but it’s 2 sizes too big for her…

The twine one just has two extra rows. It’s written in the pattern as an optional alteration.
